How do we do it?
We work with an investor who pays for the installation and takes the Feed-in tariff.
How do I qualify? :
You will need a south east to south west facing roof large enough to accommodate between a 2 kW and 4 kW system.
The roof must be structurally sound and must not be shaded by tress or other buildings.
What commitment do I need to make? :
You will need to sign a contract confirming that the system will remain in place for 25 years.
What commitment does the investor have?:
The investor will insure and maintain the system for 25 years and will allow you to keep all the electricity you can use from what the system produces:
What if I move?
In the majority of cases the new owner will want to keep the system as it will be reducing the cost of the electricity. However if they want it removed it can be taken away subject to contract conditions.
Do I still need to purchase electricity from a supplier? :
Yes, you will still need an electricity supply to your property to purchase the electricity the system cannot provide. i.e at night and when you wish to use more than the system can generate.
Can I still change electricity suppliers? :
Yes, you are not tied to any particular supplier and can move your contract as you are currently able to.
What equipment will be installed? :
All equipment will be good quality equipment tested and approved under the MCS standard. All system will be registered with Gemserv in compliance with the current regulations.
How is the amount of electricity generated, measured? :
A GPS transmitter is installed in the system which constantly provides meter readings. As the householder you are not responsible for any meter readings.
Who undertakes the work:
All installation work is undertaken by Blue Flames Green Energy Team directly employed and fully qualified engineers.
